The University of Toronto Bioethics Undergraduate Student Association (BUSA) exists to create a space where students from any discipline can come together to engage with the big ethical questions shaping health care, science, and society. Our goal is to make bioethics accessible, relevant, and collaborative, whether it is through academic events, professional panels, debate sessions, or casual conversations. By connecting students with each other and with leading professionals in the field, we aim to build a community that not only learns about bioethics but also applies it to real-world challenges and careers. Ultimately, BUSA is about giving undergraduates the tools, knowledge, and networks to think critically, act responsibly, and contribute to the ethical conversations that define our time.
